Encanto

The extraordinary Madrigal family lives hidden in the mountains of Colombia, in a wonderful enchanted place called Encanto. Encanto has blessed each child in the family with a unique special gift, from super strength to the ability to heal. Of each, except one: Mirabella. But when she learns that the magic surrounding Encanto is in danger, Mirabel decides that she—the only ordinary Madrigal—may be the extraordinary family’s only hope.

Directed by Jared Bush, Byron Howard, and Charise Castro Smith. The film was awarded the Oscar for a best animated film.

A Christmas Carol

Ebenezer Scrooge only cares about money and despises his loved ones. Scrooge especially hates Christmas. As the ghosts of Christmases past, present and future warn him against continuing his current selfish life, Scrooge must decide whether to change his life or live in solitude surrounded by his hatred.

This is the film version of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Story (1843), which premiered in 2009. The film was directed by Robert Zemeckis, and Jim Carrey plays a six-part role as Ebenezer Scrooge, both young, middle-aged and old, in addition to Carrey playing three spirits that haunt Scrooge.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

The events take place in the year 1926, when Scamander has just completed his worldwide expedition to find and document a special group of magical creatures. However, the planned short stop is prolonged, when a non-magician named Jacob, a lost magic briefcase, and Scamander’s runaway wonders enter the picture, which tend to cause harm to wizards and non-magicians alike.
