Crazy Rich Asians

“Crazy Rich Asians” tells the story of Rachel Chu, originally from New York, who accompanies her longtime boyfriend Nick Young to his best friend’s wedding in Singapore. Rachel is excited about the opportunity to visit Asia for the first time but is nervous about meeting Nick’s family and has no idea that Nick has left out a few crucial details about his life. It turns out that he is one of the heirs to one of the country’s wealthiest families and one of the most sought-after bachelors in the country. Being with Nick makes Rachel the target of envy from high-society women, and, worst of all, she becomes the target of Nick’s disapproving mother. Soon, it becomes clear that while money can’t buy love, it can certainly complicate things. Directed by Jon M. Chu. Starring Constance Wu, Henry Golding, and Michelle Yeoh.
