Beauty and the Beast

A handsome but selfish prince is put under a curse that turned him into a monster, which will only be released if the prince meets someone who truly loves him as he is. The prince doesn’t think anyone could fall in love with a monster like him. One day, the beautiful Belle goes into the castle and wants to exchange the place of her father, who is a prisoner in the castle, for her own. Servants enchanted as objects try their best to make the romance between Belle and the cursed prince flourish.

The film has been awarded two Oscars in the music category and was nominated for the best film Oscar.

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

In the first Narnia film, four children find a way to a completely new world in a wardrobe: Narnia, where there are, among other things, giants, fauns, and centaurs. The White Wizard has conjured eternal winter into the world. Together with a lion named Aslan, the children decide to free the inhabitants of Narnia from the curse.

The film has been awarded with an Oscar for best make-up masking and three BAFTA awards: best make-up masking, best sound mixing, and best visual effects.

Ebenezer Scrooge only cares about money and despises his loved ones. Scrooge especially hates Christmas. As the ghosts of Christmases past, present and future warn him against continuing his current selfish life, Scrooge must decide whether to change his life or live in solitude surrounded by his hatred.

This is the film version of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Story (1843), which premiered in 2009. The film was directed by Robert Zemeckis, and Jim Carrey plays a six-part role as Ebenezer Scrooge, both young, middle-aged and old, in addition to Carrey playing three spirits that haunt Scrooge.
