The third Fantastic Beasts movie continues the hint of the previous movie, on a darker path than the first movie in the series. There are still cute magical creatures that slightly lighten the theme, which seem almost like real animals, but the central themes are serious and the references to World War II, for example, are clear. Especially in the current world situation, the film can even seem oppressive.
