“Isle of Dogs” is a stop-motion animated film directed by Wes Anderson, set in Japan in the near future, where dogs have been exiled to an island due to fear and being considered spreaders of diseases.

The story is about 12-year-old Atari Kobayashi, the mayor’s ward, who leaves to find his lost dog Spots. Atari travels to the island in search of his furry friend and gets help from a diverse group of dogs: Rex, King, Boss, Duke, and Chief.

The film follows Atari and the dogs’ adventure on the island, their collaboration, and their struggle to retrieve Spots. Larger secrets are unveiled relating to both the island’s history and the fate of the dogs. The movie explores themes such as friendship, loyalty, and overcoming adversity.
