Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom

Black Manta, who failed to defeat Aquaman on his first attempt, still seeks revenge for his father’s death and will stop at nothing to finally destroy Aquaman. This time, Black Manta is an even stronger adversary, harnessing the power of the mythical Black Trident and its ancient evil. Aquaman engages in battle, unexpectedly enlisting the help of his imprisoned brother Orm, the former king of Atlantis. They must set aside their old grievances and join forces to protect their kingdom and save Aquaman’s family—and the entire world—from irreversible destruction.

The Call of the Wild

“The Call of the Wild” is an adventure film released in 2020, based on Jack London’s novel of the same name. The Creator

Joshua and his elite team of soldiers penetrate enemy lines, venturing deep into the dark, AI-controlled territories. However, it soon becomes apparent that the target of the destruction order is a small child, posing a threat to the world.

Paavo, a Life in Five Courses

Finnish farm boy Paavo Turtiainen is hired into the Parisian household of Swedish theatre producer Lars Schmidt and his wife, actress Ingrid Bergman. The couple “adopts” and trains Paavo to navigate among the rich and famous. Later on, Paavo becomes the personal secretary for Schmidt and Bergman. His responsibilities include building up the personal archives of both Schmidt and Bergman. Ms. Bergman’s archives are now at the film archives of Wesleyan University and Schmidt’s archives are in the United States Library of Congress. After Schmidt and Bergman divorce Paavo decides to settle permanently in New York. His first clients are friends of Schmidt: celebrities and business personalities Paavo has met while working in Paris and on Dannholmen, a Swedish island owned by Schmidt. Eventually, Paavo becomes an acclaimed chef and event planner for high society. Along the way, he has learned to stand on his own feet.

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny

In 1944, during World War II, American archaeologist Indiana Jones and his colleague Basil Shaw are in Europe searching for artifacts stolen by the Nazis. They’re attempting to prevent Nazi scientist Jürgen Voller from acquiring the Archimedes Chronometer, a device capable of time travel. Voller and the chronometer ultimately vanish without a trace. Twenty-five years later, Indiana feels uneasy as the U.S. government decides to recruit former Nazis to assist in the space race against the Soviet Union. Voller, now known as a former Nazi and a NASA member involved in the Apollo lunar landing program, aims to make the world a better place by acquiring the Archimedes Chronometer. Indiana, along with his goddaughter Helena, embarks on a journey to seize the object before the world descends into real chaos.

The Great Gatsby

The film received two Oscars for Best Costume Design and Best Production Design.

The Peanuts Movie
