Shark Tale

Oscar, a worker at the local whale wash, unexpectedly becomes a hero when he tells a big white lie. To keep his secret, Oscar teams up with Lenny, a vegetarian shark on the run, and they unexpectedly become friends. Before the Flood

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows

“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows” is an action movie released in 2016, which continues the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series.

The plot revolves around four mutant turtles – Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, and Raphael – who fight crime in New York City. The film begins as the Turtles have been anonymously fighting to save New York.

Soon, they encounter a new threat as the evil scientist Dr. Baxter Stockman teams up with the notorious Shredder. Shredder plans to create a device to release infamous and powerful Dimension X beings onto Earth.

The Turtles must join forces with their former enemy, reporter April O’Neil, and a new ally, Casey Jones, to stop Shredder’s plans. Their mission is to prevent Shredder and Dr. Stockman from bringing destruction to New York and the world.

The plot unfolds through themes of action, humor, and the brotherhood among the Turtles. “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows” offers an entertaining adventure for all Turtle fans.


Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken

Sweet, clumsy 16-year-old Ruby Gillman desperately tries to fit into life at Oceanside High, but most of the time, she feels invisible. She tutors her skateboarding crush in math, who seems to only admire Ruby as a friend, and Ruby can’t hang out at the beach with the popular kids because her overprotective supermom has forbidden Ruby from going into the water. But when Ruby breaks her mom’s most important rule, she discovers that she is the descendant of the kraken warrior queens, inheriting the crown from her domineering grandmother, the Warrior Queen of the Seven Seas.



Activists have fought for decades for animal rights. Will they succeed in winning the battle against the meat industry, or is the food industry unstoppable? The movie portrays the structural essence of animal production and the systematic power play through three central characters. They engage in a David-versus-Goliath battle against what seems like an unbeatable industry and are willing to achieve their goals at any cost. The brutal undercover footage captured by activists has caused several international scandals, but will they ultimately succeed in changing anything?


Kulkuri ja joutsen

After the war, Finnish entertainment legends Tapio Rautavaara and Reino Helismaa live the life of touring entertainers, where glamour is distant but a bottle is close. Esa Pakarinen also joins their company. A rift between Rautavaara and Helismaa overshadows the men’s lives, almost until the latter’s death. This film depicting the music scene of the 40s and 50s is an important subject. In Koivusalo’s style, however, it’s more of a collection of stories than a cohesive drama.

Martti Suosalo won the Best Actor award at the Jussi Awards gala.


Greatest Showman

“The Greatest Showman” is a musical film that tells the story of P.T. Barnum. He was a famous American showman and pioneer in the entertainment industry. The movie follows Barnum’s life starting from his youth. Barnum’s dream was to create a unique entertainment experience that brings together different people and gives them a chance to shine on stage.

Barnum (played by Hugh Jackman) puts together his own circus by gathering a group of diverse and unique performers, including acrobats, singers, dwarfs, and others who were traditionally discriminated in society. His attempt generates a lot of interest and captivates the audience, but it also faces resistance and criticism.

The film follows Barnum’s struggle for acceptance, success, and his family, all while trying to create a world where everyone can feel accepted and valued. Through the power of music, the movie emphasizes the uniqueness of individuals and encourages them to take pride in their differences.
