Mulan is a new staged version of the 1998 Disney animation of the same name. The film is a story about overcoming society's prejudices and believing in yourself, because in Mulan's world girls are mothers and wives and not warriors. Like the original animation, Mulan breaks gender stereotypes by showing that a woman too can be a victorious and resourceful warrior who can outwit her male counterparts even in strength.
