Transformers One

Transformers One (2024) is the first fully computer-animated Transformers movie, telling the origin story of Optimus Prime (formerly Orion Pax) and Megatron (formerly D-16). Before becoming enemies, they were close friends, but a growing conflict between them led to the creation of the Autobots and Decepticons, marking a turning point in Cybertron’s history.

The film explores themes of friendship, betrayal, and the fight for justice. Its voice cast includes Chris Hemsworth as Optimus and Brian Tyree Henry as Megatron.

Transformers One is part of the Transformers film series, but it stands alone as an origin story, focusing on Optimus Prime and Megatron’s early lives before their iconic rivalry. The movie deepens the characters’ backstories and Cybertron’s lore. While it is a self-contained story, it connects to the broader Transformers universe, which has mostly featured live-action films in the past.

Through us, the rights to the entire Transformers series:

Transformers: Age of Extinction
Transformers: Dark of the Moon
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
