For media educator
Elementary school student Toni Wirtanen moves to Heinola with his mother Mervi after his father's death. A few years later, Toni meets Antti Lautala, with whom he forms a punk band. Soon Antti's friend Simo "Sipe" Santapukki joins and the band is named "Apulanta". Sipe falls in love with the punk Mandy, who is spending her exchange student year in Heinola, and eventually ends up as Apulanna's bass player.
