Kate Cooper, a former storm chaser, is haunted by a devastating encounter with a tornado during her college years and now studies storm patterns safely from behind a screen in New York. Her friend Javi persuades her to return to the open plains to test a groundbreaking new tracking system. There, Kate crosses paths with Tyler Owens (Powell), a charming and reckless social media superstar who thrives on sharing his storm-chasing adventures with his raucous crew – the more dangerous, the better.

Love Lies Bleeding

Lou is the manager of a rundown gym in a shabby small town in New Mexico in 1989. Her life is mostly a series of failures and misery. But when an energetic fitness competitor named Jackie arrives in town — radiating that adorably cheesy ‘80s charm — everything changes. Lou sets her sights on Jackie. The two women quickly bond and, of course, end up in bed together. Lou suggests Jackie try steroids, saying “everyone’s using them anyway,” and Jackie ends up getting a little too enthusiastic about the juice.

Jackie, who gets a job working for Lou’s father — a criminal hiding his shady dealings behind a shooting range — gets entangled in the family’s life when Lou’s sister Beth is abused by her husband J.J. Jackie has her eyes set on winning a bodybuilding competition in Las Vegas by any means necessary, but the events she sets in motion unleash an unstoppable avalanche that crushes Lou’s father and the rest of the family. Tensions escalate into violent confrontations and bloody complications.

Euthanizer

If your pet is sick or suffering, Veijo Haukka offers it a merciful death. He believes that animals should not have to live in pain for the sake of humans. Petri Kettu brings a dog to Veijo to be put down, and the man accepts the task as he usually does. But this time, Veijo’s heart softens, and he decides to keep the dog as his own. Almost without noticing, his faith in humanity begins to return, and even love finds a small place in his heart.

However, when the dog that was supposed to be dead is discovered to be alive, a conflict of principles between the two men escalates into violent consequences — leaving the dog as the only innocent one in the story.

The film won Jussi Awards for Best Screenplay and Best Music.

Joker: Folie à Deux

The Joker, who once incited anarchy, has once again been crushed by his circumstances and society, reverting to Arthur Fleck. Still imprisoned in Arkham Asylum, he awaits his trial. Yet, deep inside, a small spark remains—a spark that finds glimpses of beauty even in the harsh routines of the asylum. Iiris is trying to recover from a difficult breakup with Artturi when she unexpectedly meets Anton, who offers comfort and sparks her interest. However, their relationship fails to progress beyond the initial stages when Iiris’s son Niilo suddenly falls ill. Niilo requires only a minor operation, but as he enters the operating room, the hospital becomes the target of a cyberattack. The power goes out, ventilators stop, and access to patient records is blocked. The nurses are forced to prioritize whose life is the most valuable.

The film won the People’s Choice Jussi Award.

Damaged is a crime drama and thriller film starring Samuel L. Jackson as Chicago detective Dan Lawson. He is called to Scotland to investigate a brutal string of murders with methods eerily similar to a case he worked on five years earlier. Teaming up with local detective Walter Bravo (Vincent Cassel), Lawson is forced to confront harrowing secrets as the murder cases intertwine with increasingly personal threats.

The film combines intense crime investigation with psychological suspense, set against the dark landscapes of Scotland.
