In 1984, when a violent upheaval in the mining industry spreads through British society, the miners receive support from a surprising direction: a small group of gay activists begins to collect funds for the strikers’ families. When the miners’ union rejects the support of the activists, they decide together to travel to a small mining town in Wales and donate the collected reserves in person. The trip will be memorable.
