The story of the world-famous neurosurgeon Dr. Stephen Strange, whose life changes in one fell swoop when he loses the ability to function in his hands in a violent car accident. When Western medicine offers no help, he is forced to seek treatment – and hope – in a surprising direction: a mysterious place called Kamar-Taj.

He soon discovers that it is not only a center of healing but also a frontline battleground in the war against unseen forces determined to destroy our reality. Before long, Strange – armed with new magical powers – must choose whether to return to his former life amidst fame and fortune, or leave it all behind and defend the world as the most powerful wizard of our time.
