For media educator

Black Widow's film takes place in the Marvel film continuum between Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War. It serves as a growth story for Natasha, played by Scarlett Johansson, towards the tragic events of Avengers: Endgame. So it's good to have seen the previously released Avengers films before watching Black Widow because it doesn't work properly as an independent film.
